Aklilu Tekali Eyob – Founder & Visionary Leader of Anna International Academy
Aklilu Tekali Eyob is a visionary educator, edupreneur, author, counsellor, and transformational leader dedicated to empowering individuals, couples, and emerging leaders to discover purpose, strengthen relationships, and lead meaningful lives. He is the Founder and CEO of Anna International Academy, an institution established to nurture self-discovery, personal growth, leadership excellence, and holistic development for adults across cultures and generations.
Aklilu’s journey is rooted in a deep conviction: many people struggle not because they lack potential, but because they lack clarity—clarity about identity, self-discovery, leadership, communication, purpose, and direction. Through years of mentoring, teaching, and counselling, he witnessed how unresolved inner conflicts, poor communication, and a lack of guidance affect marriages, families, and leadership effectiveness. This realization shaped his lifelong mission—to help people grow from the inside out.
In 2019, Aklilu founded Anna International Academy (formerly Anna International Training Center) to serve as a platform for transformation. The academy offers courses, workshops, and coaching in self-discovery, leadership, communication, life investment, enlightened mindset, marriage and parenting, career development, and wisdom-based personal growth. Today, AIA continues to expand globally through online education, empowering learners to rise with confidence and vision—symbolized by the academy’s eagle emblem.
Aklilu is also a respected author, having written two impactful books in Tigrinya that focus on marriage and relational maturity:
- “መርዓ ወጋሕታ” (Marriage with Maturity)
- “ዝርርብ ልቢ መርዓ‘ዩ!” (Communication is the Heart of Marriage)
Through these works, he addresses the foundations of healthy relationships, emotional maturity, and effective communication, offering practical wisdom grounded in principle, value understanding, and lived experience.
Academically, Aklilu brings a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and two Diplomas in Theology. He is certified in First Aid Stress and Trauma and is currently advancing his expertise through a Diploma in Career Development and Academic Advising. His academic background, combined with real-world practice, allows him to bridge theory with life application—making learning both practical and transformational.
In addition to his teaching and writing, Aklilu is a sought-after public speaker, invited to speak at numerous conferences, workshops, faith gatherings, and community events. His speaking style is known for its clarity, depth, and inspiration, challenging audiences to reflect deeply, communicate intentionally, and live purpose-driven lives.
